Job summary

Williamsburg County School District Facilities in Kingstree, SC seeks a School Custodian Substitute to support daily cleaning and maintenance in school facilities. You will perform essential duties to keep classrooms, hallways and restrooms safe and presentable.

Starting immediately, this substitute position reports to the Principal and offers a per-day rate of $75. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and be able to lift 50 pounds and operate power-cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate power-cleaning machines.
• Demonstrate aptitude for fulfilling assigned performance responsibilities.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the principal may find appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities

• Maintains an aesthetically attractive physical environment (sweeping, dusting, moving furniture as directed).
• Clean classrooms and corridors after school and during the day; disinfect toilets; clean windows; manage supplies and reordering.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment; perform minor repairs; open/close building; monitor lights and thermostats; comply with disposal procedures.
