Qualifications

• Experience in concrete construction suitable for the role.
• Finishers: experience with curbs, sidewalks, or slabs and proficiency with concrete finishing tools.
• Laborers: experience supporting concrete crews with site preparation, forming, placement, and cleanup.
• Basic measuring and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to follow construction plans and specifications as required for the role.
• Dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and availability to begin work promptly.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical construction duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Commitment to safe work practices, proper use of PPE, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas and set, strip, and clean concrete forms.
• Assist with concrete placement and move materials, tools, and equipment safely.
• Follow project specifications, crew direction, and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Finishers: Screed, float, edge, joint, and finish concrete to specified grades, slopes, and surface requirements.
• Finishers: Monitor concrete conditions, adjust finishing timing for weather and site conditions, and apply appropriate curing methods.
