Responsibilities

• Reports to the building principal.
• Reviews with the principal the plans and schedules for the day.
• Maintains established routines and procedures of the school and classroom.
• Teaches the lesson outlined in the Substitute Teacher's Guide.
• Consults with the principal before initiating any unlisted procedures.
• Oversees pupil behavior in class and during lunch/recess.
• Reports in writing on the day's activities.
• Follows policies and procedures of regular teachers.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
