Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to join our team in the community. You will support seniors and adults with disabilities with daily living activities and companionship.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiver experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Background check completed and TB test current.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers within the home.
• Perform light housekeeping including cleaning and laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks per client preferences.
• Accompany clients to errands and medical appointments.
• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, oral care.
• Provide medication reminders and ROM support.
• Deliver dementia care and engage in companionship activities.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a member of our care team, you’ll help clients with daily living activities, including:

• Assist with mobility and transfers within the home.
• Perform light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Prep meals and snacks according to client preferences.
• Accompany clients on errands and medical appointments.
• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, and toothbrushing.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Support prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Deliver dementia care and companionship through activities like reading, music, and puzzles.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• One Year of experience as a caregiver
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs independently
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle
• Successful completion of a background check
• Current TB Test
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
