• Complete high-volume fillet welds on beams, columns, and structural materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Fit, fabricate, and assemble structural steel components.
• Assist with material handling and movement of steel products.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core Dual Shield (FCAW) welding on structural steel components
• Complete high-volume fillet welds on steel I-beams, columns, and other structural materials
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Fit, fabricate, and assemble structural steel components
• Assist with material handling and movement of steel products as needed
• Maintain quality standards and follow all workplace safety procedures
• Work in a production/shop environment (no field or job-site welding)

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of welding experience , which may include a combination of work experience and welding/trade school training
• Experience with Flux Core (FCAW) or Hardwire welding required
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience fitting and fabricating structural steel components
• WABO or AWS certification preferred , but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
