MiSide Community Impact Network in Detroit, MI is seeking a Team Lead for Infant Mental Health to provide clinical and operational leadership for the IMH program, ensuring high-quality, relationship-based services and supporting clinicians through reflective practice.

The role involves mentoring staff, coordinating workflows, ensuring policy compliance, and collaborating with Head Start, Early On, IECMHC, and other partners to strengthen program impact.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health discipline.
  • Current Michigan clinical license; MI-AIMH Endorsement.
  • IFS (Infant Family Specialist).
  • IMHS (Infant Mental Health Specialist) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license; licensed in the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and coordination for the IMH team.
  • Facilitate reflective supervision and case consultation.
  • Promote fidelity to Infant Mental Health principles and evidence-based practice.
  • Support clinicians with complex cases and crisis consultation.
  • Monitor documentation, productivity, authorizations, and compliance.
  • Coordinate team workflows and communication.
  • Mentor clinicians, interns, and students.
  • Collaborate with community partners and referral sources.
  • Support quality improvement and outcome reporting.
  • Maintain a reduced clinical caseload.
  • Support grant implementation and program development.
  • Partner with Head Start, Early On, IECMHC, and other EarlyYears programs.
  • Model reflective leadership and professionalism.
  • Review documentation for quality and timeliness.
  • Support critical incident response.
  • Assist with staffing coordination.
  • Ensure policy and ethical compliance.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings.
  • Meet performance standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

QualificationsEducation

Required Certifications / Licensures
  • Current Michigan clinical license; MI-AIMH Endorsement Current
  • IFS (Infant Family Specialist)
  • IMHS (Infant Mental Health Specialist ) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license; licensed in the State of Michigan
Desired Experience
  • Experience working with Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health principles and practices.
  • Experience providing or participating in Reflective Supervision.
  • Familiarity with DWIHN and Medicaid requirements, regulations, and service delivery standards.
  • Experience working within CARF-accredited programs or environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development to staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and related applications.
