Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the Braselton IMCU/PCCU unit. This 24-bed medical intermediate care and progressive cardiac care unit provides monitoring and care for diverse medical and cardiac patients, including those requiring advanced respiratory support.

Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience - Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations
• Delivery of safe, effective, efficient care that meets population specific guidelines
• Effectively communicates with patients, families and colleagues at all levels
• Demonstrates critical thinking in the identification of clinical, social, safety, ethical and spiritual issues

Responsibilities

• Serves as a highly engaged and full partner on the care team and responds willingly to care team member needs for assistance.
• Leads interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum
• Demonstrates competence in RN I performance expectations and applies the nursing process to meet patient needs
• Works to improve patient experience, nurse sensitive indicators, and supports NGHS governance model
