Job summary

Kearney County Health Services seeks a Radiological Technologist to perform X-ray, CT, DEXA, and C-arm fluoroscopy. Active ARRT certification and Nebraska license are required; BLS is also needed. CT proficiency training available on the job. Mammography certification is a plus.

Must participate in on‑call rotations, including one weekday and weekend coverage, and respond within 30 minutes. Weekend Saturday sessions may rotate with other imaging staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer.
• ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general imaging, CT, DEXA, and C-arm fluoroscopy as needed.
• Review exams and report results to ordering providers.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Ensure quality control/quality assurance across modalities.
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings for optimal exposure.
• Respond to call rotations and arrive on site within 30 minutes.
