Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs in Brownwood, TX seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to provide daily technical and administrative oversight for the clinic area, oversee workflow, equipment, and supplies, and maintain the Radiology PACS system.

This role collaborates with the Assistant Chief Technologist and Chief Technologist to ensure high-quality imaging services and adherence to ARRT standards, JRCERT education requirements, and English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT (R) certified in general radiologic technology.
• Advanced ARRT certification required for CT/MRI/Mammography duties when performing independently.
• Completion of a full-time radiologic technology program of at least 24 months (certificate or associate degree).
• English language proficiency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical and administrative oversight for clinic radiology area.
• Oversee workflow, equipment, and supply needs.
• Maintain Radiology PACS system for optimal performance.
