Job summary

St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City seeks an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using ionizing radiation with independent judgment and a patient-centered approach.

You will produce high-quality images to aid physician diagnoses and support a friendly, compassionate environment aligned with the hospital's family-care mission. Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography credential.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with high image quality for physician diagnosis.
• Conduct imaging across radiology department, portable, and c-arm environments.
• Schedule, plan, implement, and complete imaging requests with a compassionate patient focus.
• Demonstrate growth and development knowledge for patient age groups and treatment needs.
• Stay current with evolving imaging techniques and procedures.

Schedule Possibilities: 30 hrs per week- 12 hr shifts - 8am-8:30p OR 10 hr shifts 7am-5:30pm w/rotating weekends

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at our facility, you will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. In this role:

• You will be responsible for providing the patient, the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient ’s condition or health complaint.

• You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.

• You will be responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the “care like family” mission of the hospital.

• You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

• You will be responsible for staying up to date of current techniques and procedures.

Opportunities for Growth:

We offer accelerated development programs to support colleagues with career advancement into both CT and MRI. These training programs are fully funded by HCA Healthcare, and selected colleagues complete and are paid for clinical hours during regular shifts.
