Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care in Summerville, SC. You will perform high-quality X-ray and CT imaging, ensuring patient comfort and safety while explaining procedures clearly.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, 2+ years in diagnostic imaging & CT, ARRT and SCRQSA registrations, and current BLS certification. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic imaging & CT experience.
• Preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams.
• ARRT and SCRQSA registration for Radiography and CT.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities.
• Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and answer questions to promote understanding and cooperation.
• Verify patient information and ensure appropriate preparation prior to examinations.
• Operate X-ray and CT equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Maintain competency in all assigned imaging procedures and equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies and procedures.
