Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiography required; certification in CT or meets JC Diagnostic Imaging Standards required.
• Certain imaging technicians must become competent in CT within 6 months of employment unless already certified.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures according to protocols to produce quality images.
• Verify patient identification and assess patient condition.
• Assist radiologists/physicians with procedures as required.
