Job summary

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking an Imaging Tech Student Extern to gain hands-on imaging experience under the guidance of our experienced team. You will help ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while learning essential skills in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting with positioning, transporting patients, setting up imaging rooms, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Two semesters completed at an accredited Radiology program.

• Safely transport patients between areas, supporting their comfort and emotional needs during procedures.

• Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly.
• Take ownership of your growth by participating in learning opportunities and following safety and confidentiality standards.
