Job summary

Marshall Medical Center in El Dorado County, CA, seeks a Clinical Imaging Assistant for the Diagnostic Imaging department. The role maintains the film library, updates records, processes film loans, and prepares records for distribution to imaging and requesting facilities and physicians.

You will assist physicians with digital images, distribute reports, and transport patients between units while ensuring comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Previous patient contact experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Diagnostic Imaging film library and update records.
• Process film loans and retrieve file records.
• Provide reception and route calls; order exams and prepare records for distribution.
• Assist physicians with Digital Images and distribute/fax reports to physicians and inpatient units.
• Transport patients to and from various nursing units; maintain imaging patient transport equipment.
• Perform digital image processing, CD burning and related duties.
• Assist in transfer and ambulation of patients; support staff in Diagnostic Services.
