Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Imaging Supervisor to our Radiology Department at our Baptist Oakleaf ED location, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days position working Monday-Friday.

Role Summary

Responsible for oversight of all imaging modalities and technical staff. Acts as positive role model/representative for department. May be involved in direct patient care and must be competent in credentialed modality. Assures all staff is compliant with Employee Health and Risk Management mandatory education requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Common duties include, but are not limited to: staff scheduling
• daily operations oversight
• customer service recovery
• assurance of annual and emergency equipment service
• assurance of current team member and equipment licensure
• Supervising technical and clerical staff
• Acting as a positive role model/representative for department
• Involved in direct patient care and competent in performing routine imaging studies
• Lead department resource for PACs and EMR
• Assuring staff is compliant with Employee Health and Risk Management mandatory education requirements
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy

Preferred Experience

• 3-5 Years Radiology Experience
• Technologist Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting

• Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular ARRT (CV) Required
• Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required

This Imaging Supervisor will be located at Baptist Oakleaf ED. Primary Location: Oakleaf - Main Building Freestanding ED, Baptist Health’s care for the community spans generations.
