Job summary

Connecthcs is seeking an Imaging Supervisor for a hospital near Charlotte, NC. This day shift role oversees CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound operations and requires leadership experience in one imaging modality.

The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality exams, coordinate patient throughput, and manage staff performance and training. A radiologic technology degree with ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registry with NMTCB or ARRT and previous supervisory experience required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program; BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities of the assigned area and provides adequate scanner coverage daily.
• Coordinates and organizes patient/workflow in the department, prioritizing procedures.
• Ensures adequate patient care as it relates to requested procedures.
• Validates quality of exams and participates in staff training and in-service education.
• Orders and maintains supplies for the assigned area and manages security of supplies.
• Authorized to obtain medication/contrast material as directed for administration by licensed professionals.
• Maintains teammate records, PTO, absences, tardiness, and performance, and conducts evaluations.
• Maintains status reports for patient throughput, equipment downtime, and supply charges.
• Ensures equipment QA and regulatory compliance; reports engineering support as needed.
• Ensures correct billing of exams and chargemaster compliance.
• Works with physician staff to maintain SOPs and procedural guidelines.
• Assists in departmental QA/PI activities as required.
