Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce diagnostic radiographs. You will position and instruct patients, adjust exposure settings, and ensure accurate imaging while maintaining patient safety.

Responsibilities include room preparation, exam documentation, and effective communication with physicians. ARRT-R and BLS are required; an Associate's degree is preferred, with licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• OBMI Radiologic Technologist License required in OR (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs.
• Positions and instructs patients prior to examination.
• Adjusts exposure settings and selects proper voltage/current.
• Prepares rooms and monitors patient safety during exams.
• Documents exam information and communicates with physicians.
