Job summary

Southcoast Health is looking for a talented Imaging Services Technologist Sr at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This full-time, day-shift role involves coordinating radiology modalities and performing patient procedures as part of daily duties.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiologic program with primary and post-primary certifications, MA/RI licensure, BLS, and IV/CPR credentials. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and licensing requirements may vary by location.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiation Therapy.
• Post-primary certification required within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA and/or RI.
• Current Massachusetts RT licensure or Sonography registration required based on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• IV and CPR certifications required as applicable.
• Advanced certification required for advanced practice modalities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of assigned modality personnel under the direction of Radiology management.
• Perform patient procedures as part of daily duties following essential functions and performance standards.

Education

Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed and primary certification

Post-primary certification within one year of eligibility

Current MA or RI RT licensure (based on location)

BLS certification

IV and CPR certifications as applicable

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified duties involving coordinating the daily operations, equipment and activities of assigned modality personnel. Responsible to perform patient procedures as part of daily duties including the essential functions and performance standards of assigned staff.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiation Therapy, attainment of primary certification, and post-primary certification in the assigned modality as applicable.
• Post-primary certification is required within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA and/or RI.
• Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or Rhode Island is required based on location assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• A Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• Current Massachusetts R.T. licensure or Sonography registration is required.
• IV and CPR certifications are also required as applicable.
• Advanced certification is required for advanced practice modalities.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $43.48 - USD $66.82 /Hr.
