Job summary

Saint Mary's Regional Health System is seeking an Imaging Services RN to join the Cath Lab team in Russellville, AR. You will deliver compassionate direct care, assess patient needs, and participate in treatments while upholding high standards of safety and comfort.

The role requires an Arkansas RN license, an associate degree, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Experience in acute care and imaging nursing is preferred, with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Arkansas RN license must be current.
• Education: Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• One year of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process per scope and standards of practice.
• Execute care plans including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and consistently.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Collaborate across disciplines for coordinated patient care, transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Assess learning needs of patient and family and provide education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
