Job summary

Providence Healdsburg Hospital is seeking a Supervisor Imaging Services to oversee day-to-day operations in the Imaging department. The role reports to the Imaging Manager and collaborates with radiologists and medical staff.

Candidates must be clinically competent across age groups and act as a resource to the team. The position requires radiologic technology credentials, state licensure or equivalent, and at least 3 years in an acute care radiology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist or California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician or National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years' experience in an acute care/hospital radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Imaging department and assist the Imaging Manager with management functions.
• Demonstrate clinical and technical competency in radiologic technology for all ages served.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.

National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
