Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Detroit is seeking a professional to perform a variety of radiological procedures using advanced equipment, such as radiographic and tomographic machines. The candidate must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. Responsibilities include processing film, transporting patients, and assisting the radiologist as needed. This is a day shift position within a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.
• If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of radiological procedures utilizing radiographic, tomographic and fluoroscopic and other related equipment.
• Processes film and transports patients.
• Assists radiologist as needed.
