Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved radiology program and obtain state licensure within six months.
• Minimum of one year health care experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Practice radiation protection and minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Position patients and apply immobilization for comfort and safety.
• Develop film by automatic processing; maintain and report equipment issues.
• Maintain x-ray records and manage incoming x-rays and reports for provider review.
• Communicate x-ray results with patients and providers.
