Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking an Imaging Laboratory Technician for a 12-month temporary assignment. The role is onsite and pays $25.00 per hour. The successful candidate will receive training to perform duties and will work with a team to ensure high-quality image capture and lab operations.

Responsibilities include basic lab management, camera benchmarking, field testing, and preparing test reports. Candidates should have attention to detail and an interest in cameras and imaging systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and product manuals
• General camera and lab equipment operating skills
• Basic manual skills including toolmanship and equipment assembly
• Basic photography/picture-taking skills with attention to visual details
• All camera training will be provided

Job Description

• The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about cameras and image quality, and have a critical eye and attention to detail.
• They should have effective communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with team members of diversified backgrounds.
• This is an entry-level position; the successful candidate will be trained to correctly and efficiently perform job duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic lab management, lab equipment bring-up and maintenance.
• Camera competitive analysis and benchmarking, field testing, image / video capture.
• Create demo scene setups, collect results, and prepare test reports.

Required Skills

• All necessary camera training will be provided

  Academic Credentials

  • Associate or bachelor s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant areas - high school diploma acceptable.
  • We are looking for someone with an interest in camera and video, and an eye for details while looking at images, who is a quick learner who we can teach and cultivate.
