Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando seeks an Imaging Informatics Associate Analyst (Cardiology) to join the on-site team. The role supports IS Imaging Informatics applications and the EMR related to imaging, and contributes to workflow analyses, configuration, and testing of new releases.

Ideal candidates have PACS/DICOM/HL7 exposure, a relevant Associate's degree, and CIIP certification is a plus. Travel may be required as needed to support imaging operations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required with at least 1 year related experience; 3 years in lieu of degree with enrollment in pursuit within 90 days.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting.
  • Nursing, clinical, or healthcare operations experience preferred.
  • RN license must be maintained if an RN.
  • CIIP certification preferred.
  • Travel required as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide site-specific, on-site support and first line support to end users for IS imaging informatics applications and related EMR usage.
  • Conduct clinical workflow analysis and assess the need for workflow redesign and process improvement.
  • Assist in configuring clinical applications to meet departmental requirements while maintaining enterprise standards.
  • Provide support for the Teleradiology program including scoping, implementation, and daily management of issues and enhancements.
  • Participate in evaluation, testing and validation of new release and upgrade functionality.
  • Develop project management skills and apply PM methods in daily work to achieve goals.
  • Facilitate change management to advance innovation, technology and decision support.
  • Respond to Service Now tickets within defined timeframes.

Imaging Informatics Associate Analyst (Cardiology) (Finance)
Nemours is seeking an Imaging Informatics Associate Analyst (Cardiology), Full-Time, to join our Nemours Children's Heath team in Orlando, Florida

Position requires on site presence at Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida for the first 90 days followed by ongoing 2-3 days per week depending on customer needs. Qualified applicants should have experience with PACS, DICOM, HL7, and imaging informatics workflows.

This position is responsible for providing direct support to end users in the efficient and accurate utilization of IS Imaging Informatics applications and the electronic medical record as it relates to imaging. Associate Analysts participate in building, testing and validating of new functionality and engaging in custom configuration activities. Associate Analysts perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with clinical applications. The Associate Analyst should have the ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and optimization activities designed to create more knowledgeable end users. The role of this position includes acting as a change agent, educator and resource in advancing the strategic mission of Nemours, while advancing knowledge and avoidance of data and systems integrity risks.

  • Achieve and maintain application specific certification in accordance with vendor requirements when available.

  • Facilitate change and employ change management methods in advancing innovation, technology and decision support.
  • Respond to assigned Service Now tickets within the defined timeframes.
Job Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required with a minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred. 3 years of experience required in lieu of degree with active enrollment in pursuit of degree demonstrated within the first 90-days of hire. Must obtain Associate's Degree or higher within three years of hire into role.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferred.
  • Prior Nursing, Clinical experience, or Healthcare Operation experience, preferred.
  • If an RN, must maintain current RN license.
  • Achieve and maintain one or more application specific certification in accordance with vendor requirements required.
  • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) preferred.Travel required as needed.
