Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to independently perform radiographic examinations at our Family Medical Center in Wilmington. The role emphasizes ALARA practices, accurate imaging, and proper documentation in the PACS system.

Requirements include completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program and ARRT registry eligibility with ARRT within 12 months of hire; an Associate degree in Radiology is preferred, and at least one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Radiology Technology Program and be ARRT registry eligible; ARRT must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Associates Degree in Radiology preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs exams utilizing ALARA standards (As Low as Reasonably Acceptable).
• Completes diagnostic imaging examinations following established exam protocols established by Radiologists.
• Enters examinations correctly, ensuring accurate and informative documentation and appropriate charges are entered.
• Electronically sends and stores images and data appropriately in PACS.
• Maintains all department records and logs to monitor quality and safety in accordance with departmental policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Pay Range:

$35.00 - $52.01

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
