Job summary

North Star Imaging (NSI) is seeking an Automation Technician in Rogers, AR to perform mechanical and automation assembly for industrial X-ray systems. You will read schematics, wire panels, route cables, and participate in system testing and imaging startups with training provided.

Ideal candidates have specialized technical training or an associate degree, at least 1 year in a related role, and a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset. Some travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Specialized training or Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 1 year of related technical or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to learn imaging and motion programming techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical capital equipment per drawings and instructions.
• Assemble automation components per schematics.
• Terminate wires and cables to panels; route cabling.
• Power up systems and perform motion checks.
• Assist startup and imaging tests on NSI X-ray systems.
