Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking qualified LPN or Paramedic applicants for a weekend days shift in the Imaging department. The role includes advanced technical, clinical and clerical support, patient screening, and assisting during procedures to ensure smooth patient flow and care.

Applicants should have Paramedic or LPN education, plus experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation. EMT/LPN/Rad Tech credentials and BLS are required to perform duties in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Paramedic program graduate with high school diploma/GED.
• LPN program completion required.
• 2nd year Rad Tech program completion (or similar) required.
• Prior experience as a paramedic or LPN required.
• Recent cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation experience required.
• EMT certification, LPN license, or 2nd year Rad Tech status required by law.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical, clinical and clerical support within Imaging.
• Manage patient flow and conduct patient screening.
• Assist patients during procedures and maintain supplies.
• Support technologists as needed.
• Remote cardiac monitoring for MRI patients when off nursing units.

Responsibilities

This position provides advanced technical, clinical and clerical support within the Imaging department. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, conducting patient screening, assisting patients during procedures, maintaining supplies, and supporting technologists as needed. This role also includes remote cardiac monitoring for patients undergoing MRI when they are off nursing units.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Paramedic - High school diploma/GED and a graduate of an accredited paramedic program is required

LPN High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited LPN program is required.

2nd Year Rad Tech High school diploma or GED is required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Prior experience as a paramedic or LPN is required

Recent experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation is required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: EMT Certification required or

LPN License or

2nd year Rad Tech

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BLS certified.
