The role focuses on developing, evaluating, and optimizing image quality algorithms for CT or X-ray systems. You will lead data acquisition, calibration, modeling, and simulation, operate CT scanners for calibration and phantom imaging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant academic or industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with CT scanner hardware and imaging technologies.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and image/signal processing.
• Experience of X-ray or CT physics or technology development.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++ for algorithm development and simulation.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize image quality algorithms for CT or X-ray systems.
• Lead data acquisition, calibration, modeling, and simulation efforts.
• Operate CT scanners for calibration and phantom imaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Validate algorithm performance using real and simulated data.
• Stay current with imaging science and data science advances.
