Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services seeks an Image Processing SME with TS/SCI w/ poly to support a Mission Technology and Solutions team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires developing algorithms to correct complex scientific imagery and data integrity, with emphasis on high-resolution microscopy data and real-time analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in EE/Physics/CS/CE/Math and has hands-on experience with image preprocessing, object detection, and ML-based image analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing and developing algorithms to correct scientific image data with aberrations and distortions.
• Expertise in object detection, feature extraction, and pattern recognition in high-resolution microscopy images.
• Experience stitching images into mosaics with alignment and geometric transformations.
• Knowledge of image preprocessing techniques for microscopy data.
• Ability to handle large high-resolution datasets and optimize algorithms.
• Experience training and deploying ML models for real-time or batch image analysis.
