Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking an Interventional Pain Technologist to support image-guided pain procedures in a collaborative academic healthcare environment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms, operating fluoroscopy, assisting with injections and device placements.

You will monitor patient status, maintain safety and infection-control standards, document care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate patients on pre- and post-procedure

Qualifications

• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and image-guided procedures.
• Strong focus on patient safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for image-guided interventions
• Operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment
• Assist providers with injections and device placements
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to clinical needs
• Maintain safety, radiation protection, and infection-control standards
• Document care accurately and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support quality improvement efforts
• Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure instructions
