Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support image-guided procedures. You will prepare patients and rooms, operate fluoroscopy equipment, and work closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT (R) certification, a current state license or registration, and BLS certification, with prior IR or cath lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) certification.
• Current state license or registration as required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Prior Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab / fluoroscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, imaging equipment, instruments, and supplies for interventional procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images during procedures.
• Assist physicians and the clinical team during image-guided procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention and radiation safety standards.
• Monitor patients during procedures and communicate changes in condition to the clinical team.
• Assist with room turnover, equipment care, and accurate procedure documentation.
