Job summary

Winbond Electronics Corporation seeks a customer-focused Senior SW/HW Application Engineer to drive integration of Secure Flash technologies. You will engage with customers, resolve issues, and manage projects from requirements through delivery.

You will define security use cases, create demos and sample code, and collaborate with R&D to showcase innovative features. Strong background in embedded firmware/software, C and Python, and hands-on lab skills will help you thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in firmware or embedded software development using C and Python.
• Strong understanding of interface behavior at the signal level.
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems architecture and use cases.
• Proficiency with lab equipment is an advantage.
• Experience working with customers/partners across regions is an advantage.

In this role, you will proactively engage with customers, resolve technical issues, manage projects from requirements through delivery, define and document security use cases, create demos and sample code, and collaborate with R&D to implement and showcase innovative security features.

Technical requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in firmware or embedded software development using C and Python
• Strong understanding of chip behavior at interface level and at signal level
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems architecture and use cases
• Proficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscope , logic analyzer, digital multi-meter, signal generator, power supply, etc. – Advantage
• Experience working directly with customers and partners across regions – Advantage
