This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Check in and out employees at lobby desk post.
• Check in and out trucks at the guard shack post.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential hazards or security breaches.
• Manage conflicts effectively by employing de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Able to work a smart phone and tablet.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid security officer certification where applicable.
