Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. seeks an Industrial IoT Solution Architect to lead the digital transformation of our industrial operations in a hybrid role.

You will be the primary technical authority for architecting scalable, secure IIoT solutions that harvest data from the shop floor and deliver actionable insights to enterprise systems. You will collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to define system architectures, select hardware/software, and ensure successful edge-to-cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system architecture, with at least 3 years specifically focused on IIoT or Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Travel: 0-25%
• Typical work hours Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; may be required outside regular hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end IIoT solutions, connecting industrial assets to edge and cloud-based data processing environments.
• Lead integration of OT networks with IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
• Evaluate and select sensors, gateways, edge devices, and cloud services to support specific use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement robust data ingestion, processing, and storage pipelines for telemetry and machine data.
• Ensure IIoT architectures align with industry standards and cybersecurity best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams throughout projects.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation including system designs and diagrams.
• Apply expertise in edge computing platforms and industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, TCP/IP) and UNS frameworks.
• Leverage AWS/Azure/Google Cloud and IoT services to enable secure, scalable industrial systems.
• Support OT/IT convergence by incorporating SCADA, PLC programming, and control environments into designs.
• Embed cybersecurity best practices across IIoT architectures.
• Utilize programming skills (Python, C++, Java) to support development, integration, and automation.
