Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking an Instrument Technician to support the operating room by cleaning, assembling, replacing, checking, and sterilizing instruments and supplies.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and prior experience with sterilization procedures. The position supports OR staff and physicians to ensure sterile, ready-to-use instruments for procedures in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sterilizing surgical instruments including decontamination and sterilization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, assemble, replace, check and sterilize instruments, hardware and special supplies for the operating room.
• Ensure instruments meet the needs of the OR staff and physicians.
• Follow established decontamination and sterilization procedures.
