Responsibilities include designing end-to-end architectures, hosting scalable control strategies, and ensuring data reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or manufacturing systems.
• Strong PLC programming, industrial networking, drives, and motion control.
• Advanced experience with Ignition SCADA platforms.
• Proficient in Python for automation and data processing.
• Experience with relational databases in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on Linux and Windows on hybrid infrastructure.
• Understanding of OT/IT integration and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end automation architectures for PLCs, drives, motion, and safety-critical environments.
• Develop scalable control strategies for high-speed, continuous manufacturing.
• Define standards for control system design, versioning, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Architect and evolve SCADA and MES platforms with Ignition expertise.
• Design tag models, historian strategies, alarms, and visualization standards.
• Ensure high availability and performance of plant-floor data systems.
• Integrate plant-floor with enterprise analytics platforms and Snowflake.
• Lead edge AI/machine learning pipelines for anomaly detection and process optimization.
• Provide technical leadership, reviews, and mentoring across sites.
