Job summary

Arcwide Inc. in Chicago seeks a seasoned Solution Architect to design end-to-end IFS Cloud solutions aligned with client requirements, best practices, and future scalability.

You will lead workshops, translate business processes into practical designs, supervise implementations, and collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and successful data migration. This role requires strong stakeholder management, a consultative approach, and willingness to travel to

Qualifications

• Proven experience in architecting and delivering IFS Cloud or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of key ERP modules (Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, or Service Management).
• Experience leading client-facing workshops and shaping solution design at strategic/operational levels.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of designing end-to-end IFS Cloud solutions aligned with business requirements, best practices, and future scalability.
• Work closely with clients to translate business processes into effective system designs and solution roadmaps.
• Provide leadership during implementations, acting as a trusted advisor across functional and technical streams.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of IFS solutions, including integration and data migration strategies.
• Stay at the forefront of IFS Cloud advancements and advise on optimisation opportunities.
• Lead workshops and design sessions, presenting complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activities by shaping proposals and demonstrations.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote knowledge sharing.

• Lead workshops, facilitate solution design sessions, and present complex concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.
• Support pre-sales activities by shaping proposals and contributing to solution demonstrations.
• Mentor and guide more junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

What we will look for in your resume:

• Proven experience in architecting and delivering IFS Cloud or similar ERP systems (worked in an ERP implementation as Solution Architect or Lead Consultant).
• Strong understanding of key ERP modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, or Service Management, with the ability to design cross-functional solutions.
• Demonstrated capability in leading client-facing workshops, managing stakeholders, and shaping solution design at both strategic and operational levels.
• Technical appreciation of system integrations, data migration, and reporting tools within an IFS/ERP environment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable ERP solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative and client-focused approach.
• Experience working within an ERP partner, consultancy, or complex enterprise environment is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel as required to support project delivery and client engagement.

For this role, the anticipated base salary falls within a range of $60,000–$150,000 USD annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Compensation may vary for employees outside of the United States based on local market conditions, currency exchange rates, and regional compensation structures. For highly experienced candidates, total compensation may be adjusted commensurate with skills and experience.
