About the Opportunity:

Join our client, a leader in helicopter air ambulance services, as an IFR Pilot. Based in Middlefield, OH, this role offers an exciting opportunity to serve as an EC135 SPIFR/NVG captain, ensuring safe and efficient patient transport across the United States. By working with us, you'll play a pivotal role in community healthcare, supporting both patient care and outreach programs. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary pilot in EC135 SPIFR/NVG helicopter air ambulance operations.
• Perform line-pilot duties in compliance with CAMTS guidelines and the General Operating Manuals (GOM).
• Uphold and support safety programs and participate in community outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with customers and assist with patient and equipment loading.
• Work on a 7/7 day/night rotation schedule.

Requirements:

• Hold Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
• Maintain a current First Class Medical certification.
• Meet CAMTS requirements, including:
  • 2,000 total flight hours.
  • 1,500 helicopter hours.
  • 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in helicopters.
  • 500 hours in turbine helicopters.
  • 100 hours in unaided night operations, or 50 hours unaided and 100 hours using Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
  • 75 hours of instrument time (actual and hood).
• Comply with the company's flight personnel weight restriction policy of 235 lbs or less.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service proficiency.
• Successfully complete an interview and receive acceptance from management and customers.
• Pass pre-placement physical, strength, and flexibility assessments, including the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, as well as drug screening and background checks.
• Reside within a one-hour commute of the base.
