Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year in K-12 preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse students.
• CPR and First Aid certificates highly recommended; district provides training.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support for one student as directed by the teacher.
• Support the special education teacher; assist with IEP implementation and data collection.
• Administer medications per policy under nurse delegation and document accordingly.
• Perform lunch/recess/bus duties and supervise in the cafeteria and on the bus.
• Attend trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
