The Investigational Drug Services Pharmacist at NCH supports safe, compliant management of investigational medications within the health-system. Based at the Naples campus, you will oversee storage, preparation, dispensing, and documentation for clinical research studies.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida Pharmacist License with 1+ year hospital experience, and demonstrate reliability, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced research environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State of Florida Pharmacist License required.
• Greater than 1 year of health-system hospital pharmacy experience.
• Reliability, integrity, and exceptional attention to details.

Mansioni

• Interpret complex clinical research protocols and translate into reliable pharmacy workflows.
• Investigational Drug product accountability and inventory control.
• Review proposed trial protocols for pharmacy feasibility and safety considerations.
• Train clinical staff pharmacists on research protocols and education around new protocols.
• Develop study-specific pharmacy workflows, dispensing procedures, and drug preparation instructions.
• Maintain documentation of dose preparation, dispensing, and waste; ensure protocol compliance.
• Participate in sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.
