Job summary
UChicago Medicine in Chicago's Hyde Park campus is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator in Investigational Drug Services (IDS). You will lead IDS pharmacy operations, coordinate research drug utilization, and ensure compliance with pharmacy and research standards.
As a registered pharmacist, you will supervise staff, partner with physicians and study teams, and advance medication use systems within a robust academic healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy education is required
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
- Eligible for Illinois pharmacist licensure within 60 days of employment
- Experience in ASHP-accredited residencies or hospital staffing preferred
- Board Certification within 18 months of hire
- Leadership experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of hospital operations and regulatory compliance
- Strong teaching and precepting skills
Responsibilities
- Coordinate IDS pharmacy services and research drug utilization
- Oversee pharmacy operations and medication use in clinical trials
- Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Precept students and residents and provide education
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and study teams
- Help develop and standardize research drug dispensing programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in clinical research
