Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Delivery Leader - Senior Manager to guide Industrial Data Operations across client engagements in the United States. You will own end-to-end relationships, lead multi-engagement delivery, and build a strong practitioner team while shaping the practice as it scales.

With 10+ years in industrial operations and a demonstrated ability to lead strategically and operationally, you will deliver outcomes that meet client needs and drive growth, traveling ~50% as required.

Delivery Leader - Senior Manager

Overview

Industrial Data Operations turns decades of disconnected, uncontextualized plant data into the foundation clients need for AI, automation, and modernization. That foundation work only holds up if the person leading it has lived on both sides of the OT/IT line. This role is for that person: a client-facing, team-building, sell-and-deliver leader with real operations and industrial data experience who can shape a practice that's still being built while running live client work.

This is succession leverage for the practice's current bridge leader. You inherit engagements already in motion, not a blank page - and the room to build the team and offer as the practice scales.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships end-to-end: trusted advisor to plant, operations, IT, and data leadership, not just a delivery contact
• Sell and shape new work: lead pursuits, build the business case, close engagements
• Lead delivery across multiple concurrent engagements, accountable for outcomes, quality, and client satisfaction
• Build and grow the practitioner team: recruit, coach, develop, and retain
• Move fluidly between strategy and execution - set the direction on an engagement and roll up sleeves when the team needs it
• Advise on governance, stewardship, and organizational design across the IT/OT boundary
• Bring real OT and industrial data grounding to every conversation: credible with a plant engineer, credible with a CIO
• Shape the IDO offer and point of view as the practice matures, informed by what's actually working in the field
• Represent IDO externally: alliances, industry forums, eminence content

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of real experience in industrial operations, OT/process control, industrial data, or IT/OT convergence - not adjacent, not academic, actually done the work
• 5+ years in a client-facing leadership role: sold work, ran client relationships, led delivery teams
• 5+ years demonstrating ability to operate across strategy and implementation - has set direction and has also delivered
• Track record building or growing a team or practice, not just staffing one
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to travel an average of 50% of working time based on client and industry needs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Background spanning more than one of: plant/operations leadership, industrial automation vendor (sales engineering, solution architecture), OT-focused systems integrator, or consulting delivery - breadth matters more than any single path
• Direct experience with plant floor systems and standards ("ISA-95", "OPC UA", historians) - enough to be dangerous, not necessarily the expert in the room
• Direct experience with industrial data platforms, cloud, data and tools (representative: Cognite, HighByte, AVEVA, Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, AWS, GCP)
• Experience navigating or advising on data governance and org structure questions across IT and OT
• Comfortable partnering with platform-specific architects and alliance teams without needing to own that depth personally
• Prior experience building or scaling a practice, offering, or new capability inside a larger organization
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity: this practice is still being built, and the role requires shaping it while delivering

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $189,200 - $372,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
