Job summary

IO Datasphere, Inc. is seeking a data integration specialist to migrate assets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC and contribute to ETL design and data warehouse initiatives.

You will develop mappings, validate data quality, and collaborate with IT and business teams to implement scalable solutions. The role involves optimizing warehouse performance, ensuring data security, and adhering to project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience migrating assets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC.
• Knowledge of data warehouse best practices and standards.
• Moderate skills with relational and dimensional data models.
• Moderate skills with slowly changing dimensions.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including meetings with customers and technical staff.
• Knowledge of project development life cycle (planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support).
• Experience in requirements gathering.
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
• Ability to navigate a large organization to achieve results.
• Ability to initiate and manage complex projects of varying durations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Migrate mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC.
• Assist in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and data warehouse initiatives.
• Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading into data warehouse and ensuring data reliability.
• Improve data warehouse performance and ensure data security.
• Collaborate with IT and business users to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform data warehouse design and testing, including metadata and repository creation.
• Develop processes for entering information into data warehousing systems and ensuring data reliability.
• Seek continuous improvement in data warehouse performance and security.
