Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced IDMC Administrator to manage, support, and optimize the Informatica Data Management Cloud platform. The role focuses on platform availability, performance, security, and seamless data integration across enterprise systems.

You will administer IDMC/IICS environments, ensure high availability, monitor job executions, and collaborate with ETL developers and architects to deliver reliable data workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in Informatica IDMC/IICS administration in large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Secure Agent configuration and management, and ETL job monitoring/troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Advanced SQL, Unix Shell scripting, and Cloud Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Operations: Administer IDMC/IICS environments, manage access, connections, repositories, and runtimes.
• Monitoring & Support: Track system health, job failures, logs, and root-cause analysis; provide L2/L3 support.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce access control, RBAC, password policies, audits, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Automation & Optimization: Develop scripts (Unix/Shell/Python) to automate tasks and seek performance improvements.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Support: Coordinate with ETL developers, data engineers, and architects; liaise with Informatica vendor for issues.

About Position

We are seeking an experienced IDMC Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. The role involves ensuring platform availability, performance, security, and seamless data integration across enterprise systems.

What You'll Do

Platform Administration & Operations

• Administer and manage IDMC/IICS environments, including user access, connections, repositories, and runtime environments.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of IDMC services.
• Monitor system health, job execution, and platform usage.
• Install, configure, and manage Secure Agents and runtime environments.
• Set up connectivity with databases, cloud applications, and enterprise systems.

Monitoring & Support

• Monitor ETL/job failures, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and job execution issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support for production issues and incidents.

Security & Compliance

• Implement user access control, role-based permissions, and password policies.
• Perform vulnerability checks and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Support audit, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage code deployment across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
• Support release management and change control processes.

Automation & Optimization

• Develop scripts (Unix/Shell/Python) to automate administrative tasks.
• Identify opportunities for performance tuning and optimization.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

• Work closely with ETL developers, data engineers, and architects.
• Coordinate with vendor support (Informatica) for issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Informatica IDMC / IICS Administration.
• Knowledge of Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Secure Agent configuration and management, and ETL job monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Advanced SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Cloud Platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Governance (EDC, Axon, IDQ).
• Familiarity with CI CD Pipeline.
• Exposure to Monitoring tools.
