Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced IAM analyst focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will manage access, review rights, and implement security controls across enterprise platforms, collaborating with Azure and Google Cloud teams where possible.

This role requires at least three years in information security or IT, with OCI experience, and an undergraduate degree. Hybrid work model in Dallas supports collaboration and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with the design, build, and deployment of IAM capabilities aligned with security standards and integrated with enterprise access administration infrastructure.
• Provides advanced support for issues related to technology platforms, environments or access administration; applies risk ranking to resolve issues.
• Designs and develops technical documentation for security administration software and access policies; develops onboarding documentation for applications.
• Solves complex technical problems spanning multiple incidents to identify root causes and proactive solutions.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and supports changes to department policies and procedures.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

In this role, you will be the primary IAM analyst responsible for Oracle Cloud (OCI) as well as responsible to support your peers who are responsible for Azure and Google Cloud where possible. You will provide advanced analysis, recommendations, and implementation of identity and access management security for new and existing technology platforms, environments, and software used across the enterprise. You will coordinate with other teams and departments to review access rights and potential risks.

Core Responsibilities

• Assists with the design, build, and deployment of identity and access management technological capabilities that are compliant with enterprise security standards and integrated with enterprise access administration infrastructure. Assists with needs assessments to capture availability of technology, infrastructure support, administrative needs and ensures alignment to organizational objectives and vision.
• Provides advanced support for issues related to technology, platforms, environments or access administration. Applies knowledge of risk ranking of the various technology platforms and environments when resolving issues.
• Designs and develops technical documentation for security administration software, platform and environment security access. Actively participates in the development of tools to automate access management services and to implement access and security policies and standards. Initiates, designs and develops the documentation required to support application onboarding.
• Solves complex technical problems that have resulted in multiple incidents within operations to understand root cause and resolve the issues Assists team and managers in devising solutions to resolve issues proactively.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement. Supports the implementation of changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
