Job summary

Emergent Professional Resources L.P. (EPR) is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer for a manufacturing client.

The role focuses on administering and engineering IAM infrastructure, including user lifecycle management, access provisioning, and security group administration. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and PowerShell scripting, and will leverage automation to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IAM Administration or IAM Engineer role.
• Hands-on Active Directory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• PowerShell scripting to automate IAM tasks.
• Knowledge of users, groups, OUs and GPOs.
• User provisioning and deprovisioning experience.

Job description

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer with at least 4 years of hands‑on experience in Identity and Access Management administration and engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), PowerShell scripting, and automation.

The candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise identity infrastructure, user lifecycle management, access provisioning and deprovisioning, security group administration, access controls, and automating IAM processes using PowerShell. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to improve operational efficiency through scripting and automation.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience working as an IAM Administrator or IAM Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Experience developing PowerShell scripts to automate IAM and Active Directory administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of user and group management, security groups, distribution groups, OUs, and GPOs.
• Experience with user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management.
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
• Experience supporting hybrid identity environments.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
