We are looking for an experienced Lead Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to support and modernize enterprise identity infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, authentication/federation services, identity synchronization, and Virtual Directory Services (VDS).

Location: Charlotte, NC / Irving, TX
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for full-time conversion

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and modernize enterprise identity infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership for Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Support authentication, federation, SSO, and identity synchronization services.
- Work with Virtual Directory Services (VDS) and LDAP-based integrations.
- Experience with RadiantOne VDS is highly preferred.
- Troubleshoot complex identity, authentication, directory, and integration issues.
- Support hybrid identity environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.
- Contribute to security, platform stability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support audit, compliance, and enterprise security requirements.
- Analyze complex Information Security Engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation on large-scale identity initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering, IAM, or Identity Infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Active Directory / AD DS.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with authentication and federation technologies.
- Experience with identity synchronization and directory services.
- Strong understanding of LDAP and enterprise directory integrations.
- Experience supporting on-premises and cloud/hybrid identity environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on complex enterprise initiatives and collaborate with multiple teams.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with RadiantOne VDS.
- Experience with enterprise IAM modernization initiatives.
- Experience with disaster recovery, security controls, and audit/compliance requirements.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise environments.
