Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Identity Intelligence Analyst to produce all-source I2 analysis and related intelligence products for global missions. You will fuse diverse identity attributes and biometric modalities to identify threats and networks, and brief findings to government clients and military personnel.

Required are deep knowledge of Identity Intelligence tradecraft, experience with I2 tools, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting research within applicable databases and synthesizing necessary data to provide assessments.
  • Experience applying intelligence structured analytic techniques; strong writing skills and experience with basic computer applications and data processing systems.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Identity Intelligence tradecraft.
  • Experience producing intelligence analysis with moderate oversight.
  • Experience with I2 analytical tools and databases, including BI2R/I2AR, SOFEX, Palantir, AIDP/Maven, Query Tree, Chrome, Analyst Notebook, Open-Source research, BIometric Automated Toolset (BAT), TIDE, Pulse, QLIX.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex analytic methodologies and structured analytic techniques to examine biases, assumptions and theories to eliminate uncertainty.
  • Demonstrates ability to brief mission and production topics to internal and external government clients, military personnel, and contract audiences.
  • Ability to operate both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to meet pre-deployment requirements and willingness to deploy to OCONUS locations for 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Produce all-source Identity Intelligence (I2) analysis and intelligence products to support global missions and customers.
  • Fuse identity attributes (biographical, biological, behavioral, contextual, reputational) to identify and assess threats and networks.
  • Incorporate biometric modalities (fingerprints, DNA, iris, voice) and behavior into analyses.

  • Collaborate with teammates and deploy to austere locations as required.

Work Schedule
  • Stateside: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
  • Deployed: 7 days per week, 12 hours per day
Essential Responsibilities

As an Identity Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for producing all-source Identity Intelligence (I2) analysis and intelligence products in support of global missions and customers. You will apply an understanding of I2 tradecraft to produce analysis focused on the full range of unique identifying human characteristics and modalities to include, but not limited to, fingerprints, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), iris scans, voiceprints, facial recognition features, and behavior for the purposes of identifying and tracking persons and networks. This includes fusing identity attributes, such as biographical, biological, behavioral, contextual, and reputational information related to individuals and intelligence associated with those attributes, to identify and assess threats of individuals and networks, their capabilities and capacity, centers of gravity, objectives, intent, and potential courses of action.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication and constant mental alertness. Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Experience conducting research within applicable databases; ability to compile, analyze and synthesize necessary data to provide an assessment within the scope of the assigned mission and government approved format.
  • Experience applying intelligence structured analytic techniques; strong research and writing skills, and experience with basic computer applications, search engines, and data processing systems.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Identity Intelligence tradecraft.
  • Experience successfully producing intelligence analysis with moderate oversight.
  • Experience with I2 analytical tools and databases, including BI2R/I2AR, SOFEX, Palantir, AIDP/Maven, Query Tree, Chrome, Analyst Notebook, Open-Source research, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), TIDE, Pulse, QLIX.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex analytic methodologies and structured analytic techniques to examine biases, assumptions and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise. Structured analytic techniques include, but not limited to, Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, Devil’s Advocacy, High-Impact / Low-Impact Analysis, Red Team Analysis and Alternative Futures Analysis.
  • Demonstrates the ability to participate in analytical debate and be receptive to constructive criticism.
  • Demonstrates the ability to brief mission and production related topics to internal and external government clients, military personnel, and contract audiences.
  • Ability to operate both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to meet appropriate COCOM pre-deployment requirements and willingness deploy to OCONUS (austere) locations for a minimum of 6 months.
