Job summary

Squads is a fintech company focused on securing the growing stablecoin economy, offering identity and endpoint security across its operations. The role partners with the Head of Security to ensure proper access, device baselines, and safe adoption of new tools while moving quickly with high standards.

You will own hands-on security operations, respond to incidents, and develop reviews and processes that scale as the company grows, balancing proactive controls with fast execution.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating an enterprise identity platform, including SSO and MFA
• Experience managing MDM and EDR tooling across a device fleet
• Experience responding to security incidents, compromises, or suspected breaches
• Ability to assess vendor and integration risk, including risks introduced by AI tools
• Scripting ability in Python or Bash for automation and basic tooling
• Strong written communication and the judgment to work independently
• Experience with blockchain or Web3 threats is a plus

Responsibilities

• Administer identity provider and SSO; enforce MFA and phishing-resistant authentication
• Build periodic access reviews and apply least privilege across critical systems
• Manage access provisioning and offboarding for employees and contractors
• Own MDM and EDR coverage across the device fleet; maintain configuration standards
• Handle device provisioning, access requests, and IT workflows for secure operations
• Automate security and IT workflows to improve coverage and reduce manual work
• Act as first responder for identity and endpoint incidents: investigate, contain, document, and escalate as needed
• Help define and maintain security policies as the program matures
