Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking an Identity & Access Management Specialist to manage access provisioning, deprovisioning, and reviews across a complex enterprise. You’ll work with AD, Entra ID, and CyberArk in a hybrid setup with on-site collaboration and remote work one day a week from Buffalo, NY.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in IAM, experience with privilege access controls, and strong collaboration and problem-solving skills to support security initiatives and governance across multiple teams.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of relevant work experience in IAM or cybersecurity.
Experience with identity governance and access management.
Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) programs and controls.
Familiarity with Jira for ticketing and workflows.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage user access across onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
Provision, modify, and remove access across apps and systems.
Administer IAM technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk.
Perform access reviews, certifications, audits.
Troubleshoot identity and access issues; serve as escalation point.
Develop and maintain SOPs and process docs.
Participate in on-call rotation.
